Description
This mechanical temperature control thermostat replaces a failed refrigerator control that cycles the compressor to maintain proper internal temperature. Restores reliable on/off switching so the appliance can hold set temperatures. What it does:
- Senses cabinet temperature and opens/closes the compressor circuit to regulate cooling
- Stops extended compressor run or prevents compressor from starting when thermostat fails
- Addresses symptoms such as warm refrigerator, inconsistent temperatures, or excessive cycling
- Works with mechanical control systems that use a physical sensing element
