Colleen H Valley View , TX September 30, 2014 Start button on touchpad wasn't working Removed screws from interior door panel, slid out top touchpad insert. Removed three screws of black bracket holding the touchpad panel, and two screws holding motherboard. Removed black bracket. Unplugged touchpad from motherboard. Now the fun part. The top of the touchpad panel is sticky-glued to the bottom of the touchpad insert. We had to use a sharp pocket knife to gently detach touchpad from the big insert. Cleaned the surface where the new touchpad was going to be installed. Remove film from top of newt touchpad and carefully position, insert, and sticky-glue new touchpad. Reattach bracket. Plug into motherboard. Reattach motherboard. Place touchpad insert back into the top of the door, secure door with screws....voila!
