Description
This transmission assembly drives the agitation and spin cycles by transferring motor power to the tub. Replacing a worn transmission helps restore proper wash action and spin performance.

- Common failure signs: no or weak agitation; no spin or slow spin

- Disconnect power and water; move the appliance to a stable work area and use proper lifting support
- Access the drive assembly from below; support the tub/frame to prevent tipping
- Mark component orientation, remove fasteners and drive components as needed, and transfer any reusable parts from the original unit
- Tighten mounting hardware evenly, then run a test cycle and check for leaks
