Description

This water inlet valve is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in washing machines. Hot and cold water coming into the machine is controlled by the water inlet valve. This valve is connected to the solenoid that receives signals from the washing machine's control center to tell it when water is needed, how much water is needed, and the water temperature. The solenoid sends those signals to the valve, opening the gates to allow water to flow in until it is signaled to stop. If the washing machine is leaking water or not filling with water, the water inlet valve should be replaced.Unplug the water and power to the washing machine. Pull the machine away from the wall and remove the back panel. Disconnect the water hoses from the inlet valve and take the wires off the valve connecting it to the solenoid. Remove the old valve and install the new valve. Reconnect the wiring and water hoses. Reinstall the back cover. Turn the water and power back on and check for leaks.This water inlet valve is made of heavy-duty molded plastic and is sold individually.
