Description

This triple-solenoid washer water inlet valve regulates and routes hot and cold water into the tub and dispenser as the control commands. Replacing a weak, stuck, or leaking valve restores proper fill, temperature mix, and cycle performance. What it does:

• Opens and closes to allow water into the washer based on cycle and temperature selections
• Three solenoids manage hot/cold mix and direct water to the tub and dispenser compartments
• Typical symptoms: won't fill, slow fill, fills when powered off, incorrect temperature, or leaks from the valve
• May trigger fill-related error codes or cause extended/paused cycles due to fill timeout

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off both hot and cold water supplies before servicing
• Place a towel or shallow pan to catch residual water when removing hoses
• Label and transfer each wire connector and hose to the matching port on the new valve
• After installation, open supply valves and run a test fill; inspect all connections for leaks
