Frigidaire 154773401 Vent Assembly OEM Part

I looked up error code 04 in the owners manual and read "the drying damper is not operational". I then went on AppliancePartsPros.com and chatted with an agent online to discuss the problem. I was extremely impressed with how customer-service oriented the agent was (Robin H. was the agent's name), who recommended ordering only the part of the drying damper most likely to be the cause of the problem, thus costing me the least amount of money. However, since I had already read several blogs about how unreliable Electrolux dishwashers are and how, when the drying damper goes bad, usually the entire drying damper unit needs to be replaced, I ordered a completely new drying damper and replaced the old one. Now it works fine. I ordered the part early in the afternoon and, to my amazement, the part arrived via FedEx the very next morning without even the need of ordering the part 1-day delivery; and the S & H charge was minimal. This is the first time using AppliancePartsPros.com and I could not be more satisfied with every aspect of the ordering and delivery process. There is no question at all I will use this company for any appliance issues in the future.

Ordered part, when I pulled out dishwasher I found a small piece of wood had stuck in fan. Screen causing failure. (We just had new granite installed last week). Removed and tested ok. Waiting a while for Murphy’s law to run out before returning.

Replaced the vent assembly, simple replacement, after taking out the dishwasher. Shipping was quick, the part was correct and I would recommend this seller and fixing your dishwasher.

Replaced Vent Assembly (drying damper). Hardest part was pulling dishwasher out to get at part. Simply had to remove old part and install new part with a couple of screws and short connector cable. Dishwasher has worked fine since.
