Description
This wash impeller is the pump rotor that moves dishwasher wash water through the circulation system to help clean dishes. Replacing a worn impeller restores proper water flow and improves cleaning performance. What it does:
- Spins on the wash pump shaft to push water through spray arms for effective cleaning
- Helps maintain proper spray pressure during the wash cycle
- Worn or damaged impeller can cause weak spray, poor cleaning, or unusual pump noise
- Works with the pump housing and seals to keep water circulating where it belongs
