Description

This low pressure switch senses refrigerant pressure and helps protect the system by shutting off or preventing compressor operation when pressure is too low. It restores normal operation when pressure returns to safe levels. What it does:

• Monitors system pressure and interrupts compressor/control circuit at unsafe low-pressure conditions
• Helps prevent compressor damage from loss of refrigerant or a sealed-system failure
• Common symptom: compressor won't run or system cycles off without cooling
