Description

This 8" cooktop surface element replaces a worn or failed cooktop burner to restore normal heating on electric ranges. It provides a direct-fit heating element for the corresponding socket and supports everyday stovetop cooking. What it does:

• Heats cookware when energized by the range's surface element terminal
• Restores even heating when the original element is open or intermittently working
• Fixes symptoms like no heat from one burner, weak/slow heating, or visible burn/damage to the coil
• Works with the existing burner drip pan and terminal block for a simple swap

• One 8" cooktop surface element

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the range before service
• Allow the cooktop to cool completely before removing the old element
• Pull the element straight out of the terminal block and align new element terminals for a secure fit
• Check the terminal block, infinite switch, and wiring; use a multimeter only if you are comfortable and qualified
