Rod C Gig Harbor , WA July 14, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Trash Compactor ZCGS150PSS-00 Ge monogram trash compactor would not operate At first I went to the GE website. They did not have a parts diagram for my specific model on line. I called GE and they finally told me what part I needed, and e-mailed me an unreadable diagram. It was all a bit confusing to me because they did not elaborate that the part I needed looked entirely different from the diagram and was actually a new kit due to a design change of a high failure part. Then I discovered Appliance Parts Pro. They had a parts diagram for my specific machine on line. Still a bit confused, I called tech support and they told me that there had been a design change on the pictured part and that I needed GE Part# 202 (WCO2X10027) which was a kit that came with instructions for installation. The parts with installation instructions arrived in a few days, and in short order I was again compacting trash. I am now a fan of Appliance Parts Pro, First because of their 365 day return policy; Second because their OEM part was less expensive than purchasing it from the manufacturer; And finally because their tech support was knowledgeable and willing to assist with solving a problem.
