All research pointed to replacing the Control Panel. Watched a YouTube. Ordered the Panel. Replacement was pretty easy. Part was not cheap. Paid about $160. The GE microwave is a good one and the incremental cost of repair seemed to make financial sense rather than ordering a new one.
