Description

This replacement bake element fits the lower oven of compatible electric ranges. It supplies bottom heat for Bake mode, helping your oven preheat properly and cook evenly when the original element is burned out or damaged. What it does:

• Provides heat from the bottom of the oven during Bake cycles
• Helps reach and maintain the set temperature
• Common symptoms: no heat in Bake (broil may still work), very slow preheat, uneven baking, or a blistered/broken element

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely
• Access from inside the oven; remove racks and the element's mounting screws
• Transfer the two wires one at a time to the new element and ensure tight connections
• Keep wires from slipping back into the insulation; do not overtighten mounting screws
