Kevin W Rochester , MA January 20, 2016 $1000 dishwasher didn't clean dishes Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?". John R Buckeye , AZ November 16, 2014 Appliance: Model ZBD0710NSS The original racks were starting to shed their plastic coating and rust was visible I made my first order with just the make (GE) and Model (Monogram) What was shipped first appeared to be a generic GE rack set. I read some other folks post and some said they made minor adjustments to these racks and they worked fine. I was not happy with the fit and returned the first set. The next set was ordered with Make, Model and Serial number. What was shipped this time are direct replacements for the original racks. A perfect fit. My bad for not including enough information on my original order. These folks have what I needed, I neglected to provide enough information on my fist order. Michael K Spokane , CA June 01, 2015 Torn leaky tub gasket do to poor design of original silverware basket (no way to keep tall silverware from tearing gasket when rolling in bottom) Installed new gasket (Be careful of thin wire running horizontal along bottom of door connecting both ends of gasket. It can be easily bent when removing. The old silverware basket had no compartment covers. When you put silverware in, the taller utensils extended sideways and beyond the edge of the basket and tore the gasket when rolling in the bottom tray. The replacement has individual places for the utensils to fit. They keep the silverware straight up and away from the gasket when rolling in the tra.y Read More... 19 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
Ostrowski, S Seven Fields , PA February 09, 2016 Dishwasher basket was way too small We found the perfect fit at appliancepartspros.com. we'd been searching for a size that would fit but nobody else had one. My husband somehow found this store and they had the basket to me in less than 24 hours before I ran my next load of dishes. It fits right next to the smaller one that came with it so now I have plenty of space for utensils! The dimensions on their site were spot on and we are thrilled that it fits! The basket also has a nice little solid plastic thing that clips right onto the rack to keep it steady, it's actually better than the basket that comes with the dishwasher. I know if we have to move again, I'm taking my basket with me :) Read More... 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
Anthony K Lakeland , FL February 22, 2015 Appliance: Model DOES NOT APPLY Dishwasher basket Our new Bosch dishwasher basket was to difficult to use, so I replaced it with a GE basket I found on you website that fits right in, so did the price. I paid almost as much for the shipping but had it in 24 hrs. Was worth it as I did not have to drive anywhere looking for it. Next time I need any appliance parts I will start with your website.
