Description
The BLOWER WHEEL ASSEMBLY is an OEM part for GE electric dryers. It contains both the blower wheel and blower motor housing. This assembly powers the rotation of the blower wheel to generate crucial airflow through the dryer. During cycles, it circulates heated air to enhance drying performance.
Symptoms of a bad blower wheel assembly include:
- Dryer not drying clothing properly, cycles taking excessively long
- Absence of any air blowing through the dryer ducting
- Loud buzzing or grinding noises from the blower motor area
- Significant accumulation of lint in the exhaust duct or around duct openings
