Russ C Pleasant Hill , CA February 06, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PSHW6YGXCDSS Lights no longer working on one side of for our ge profile's external ice dispenser and also the surface light for the advantium cooking device Chatted online with a an individual from Appliance Parts Pros regarding replacement bulbs and instructions for our GE Profile PSHW6YGXCDSS Side-By-Side Refrigerator and our GE Advantium SCA2001 Cooking Tool. He gave me the part numbers for the bulbs and they were ordered and delivered very quickly. The bulbs for the the Advantium (WB36X10328 ) were easy to replace using just a screwdriver to remove and replace the protective covers under the appliance. However, the bulbs for the Refrigerator (WR02X10812) where not ones that would fit in the external ice dispenser unit (more like ones for the internal freezer quick-freeze unit), so I called Appliance Parts Pros the next business day to see how to obtain the proper part and return the wrong ones. Ashlee, answered their phone and she was very understanding of the issue involved and was able to order me the correct part number (WR55X10899) which is actually a small circuit board with 2 led bulbs. I asked her how to return the wrong parts and told me to keep the other bulbs and additionally shipped the new part for free - Talk about service!!! The new part came 2 days later and I was able to install it with only minor problems, as there is a very small plastic rivet that holds the light assembly to the dispenser frame but is not shown on any diagram supplied by GE. It required taking the dispenser frame out of the door and then having to force the rivet out which partially deforms the end makes it a challenge to get it to hold the new circuit board in place. It would have been nice to know that little tidbit in advance and have ordered a new rivet for it at the same time - if one is even available. Charles M Merced , CA September 15, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PSHF6PGZBEBB Lights by ice/water dispenser went out Pull up one of your video repairs on fixing the solenoid and it showed me how to take the dispenser area apart. It took me about 10 minutes because I took the time to clean all the parts that came in contact with water and ice. The job was a success , the only problem I encountered was that there are 2 of these light boards which they don't tell you, you need to replace. But one works for both the night light and the dispenser light and being they are so pricy I am going to stick with just the one for the present time.
