Description

The Boot Gasket Clamp is an OEM part for GE washing machines. It secures the flexible boot gasket in the place where the washer connects to water supply lines. Proper installation with this clamp around the gasket helps prevent leaks at this critical water inlet point.

Causes of a bad boot gasket clamp include corrosion, cracks, or broken clips that no longer hold the gasket firmly in position. 

Symptoms of a bad clamp include:

  • Water seeping or spraying from the boot connection area   
  • Loose, slipping, or misaligned gasket that does not form a tight seal
  • Rust or mineral buildup indicating long-term moisture exposure
