Description

This broil element heats the top of the oven to produce high, direct heat for broiling and browning foods. Replaces a damaged or non-heating upper element to restore broil performance and even cooking on the top rack. What it does:

• Generates the high, direct heat needed for broiling and searing
• Heats when the oven is set to the "Broil" function
• Commonly used when the oven won't broil, the top of food isn't browning, or the element shows visible damage
• Works with the oven's broil control and thermostat to reach and maintain broil temperatures
