Description

The Range Surface Burner Grate Bumper is an OEM replacement part for GE ranges. The bumper protects the burner grate from scratching or denting the cooktop surface below when lowered into position. 

Symptoms of a damaged or missing bumper include: 

• Scuff marks or abrasions on the cooktop under the burner grate area
• Noise or rubbing sensations when operating burners  
• Loose or detached fit of the burner grate on the range surface

Causes stem from regular use of the burner grates over many cooking cycles. Natural wear and repeated contact with surfaces can degrade bumpers over time.
