Description
The Control Erc is an OEM part for GE gas ranges. As the central control module, it oversees all burner, ignition and safety functions through built-in programming and sensor monitoring.
Symptoms of a faulty control include:
- Burners not igniting or heating properly
- Inability to adjust burner temperature settings
- Fault codes or error messages displayed
- Control panel buttons malfunctioning
- Safety valves or sensors failing to activate
Causes can relate to normal wear of internal electronic components over extended use of the appliance. Occasional electrical surges may also degrade circuitry over time.
