Description
This control board is made for use with ovens, stoves, and ranges. It is the main component responsible for ensuring all the oven components are working properly. It takes care of making sure the oven heats up, the stove has heat on the right burners, and systems are turned on and off when expected. The control board has a display on the front with time and temperature for the user. Due to the many small parts associated with the control board, it can malfunction or become damaged. If this occurs, the part should be replaced.Replacing the control board on a range may require tools like a screwdriver, wrench set, and putty knife. First, make sure the range is unplugged and the gas supply is shut off. Pull the range out and remove the back shield to the control board. Next, take a photo of where the wires are located on the control board. Disconnect them and pull out the control board.
