Michael M Edmonds , WA November 14, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JE2160SF03 Some of the numbers on touch pad on js2160 ge microwave did not work Received proper instructions from Chris C. and removed the built in microwave from the cabinet. Removed the case to access the screws holding the touch pad control assembly. Installed the new assembly just as the old one was removed attaching wire assemblies the same. Rich E New Paltz , NY January 18, 2016 Appliance: Model GE MODEL JE2160SF03 Only some of the keys on the keypad worked Replacing the Control Plan Sub Assembly did the trick. It was a very easy job but did require taking apart the trim kit and removing the microwave casing to get to the old panel. Had to unhook a few cables from the panel then 1 screw and it popped out easily. The most time consuming part was taking the trim kit apart and removing the microwave and then putting the trim kit all back together. Not difficult at all. Just time consuming. Read More...
