Roy L San Jose , CA March 16, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Microwave HVM1540DN1WW Keypad short error on display Removed the two screws on top of top grill, removed grill by sliding grill to left (was very stiff). This exposed the screw on top of the control panel. Removed the screw, unplugged connections to control board, removed old control panel. Unplugged flex connector on old control board, removed control board from old panel, put in new panel, connected flex connector.
