Description

This air inlet cover assembly fits over the duct where cold air enters the fresh food compartment. It shields the opening and guides airflow to help maintain even cooling and reduce cold blasts directly in front of the vent. What it does:

• Covers and protects the air inlet opening between the freezer and fresh food sections
• Helps direct and diffuse cold air entering the refrigerator compartment
• Supports consistent temperatures by promoting proper airflow
• Replace if the cover is cracked, warped, missing, or won't stay secured—issues that can lead to uneven cooling or items freezing near the vent

Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
• Remove shelves/drawers as needed to access the vent on the fresh food back wall

• Seat and secure the new cover; ensure the damper area is unobstructed before restoring power
