Dale M Newport , ME June 20, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JES1290SK01 Wave guide cover had a hole burnt in it Pulled the button pin that held the old cover in place, removed the old cover. Then carefully bowed the new cover( it is much stiffer then the old cover and being made of mica very brittle ) so not to break it, slipped it into place and reinserted the pin. That's all it takes.
