Description

This microwave waveguide cover shields the waveguide opening from grease and moisture while allowing microwave energy to enter the cavity. Replace a burned, cracked, or missing cover to stop arcing and help protect internal components.

• Shields the waveguide port from food splatter, steam, and debris
• Helps prevent arcing/sparking when the original cover is scorched or contaminated
• Maintains a clear path for microwave energy to support proper cooking performance
• Common signs: visible burns or charring, crackling/sparking from the wall opening, staining or food behind the cover

What's included: 1 waveguide cover Installation notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; microwaves can retain high voltage—do not open the cabinet
• From inside the oven cavity, remove the screw or release the tabs securing the old cover; clean the surrounding area
• Position the new cover flush over the opening and secure it using the existing fastener(s)
• Never operate the microwave without the waveguide cover installed
