Description

This lint screen cover installs in the dryer's door opening over the lint filter. It holds the screen securely and directs airflow through it to capture lint and help protect fabrics as items pass the opening.

• Secures the lint screen in the door opening/front bulkhead so it seats correctly
• Directs airflow through the lint filter for proper lint collection and drying performance
• Smooths the filter opening to help prevent clothes from catching
• Replace if the cover is cracked, warped, loose, or missing, or if you notice lint escaping, longer dry times, or snagged items near the filter area

• Disconnect power; for gas dryers, also shut off the gas supply
• Open the door, remove the mounting screws, and lift off the old cover
• Position the new cover and reinstall screws; do not overtighten to avoid cracking
• Verify the lint screen slides and seats properly, then run a short test cycle
