There are two screws where the ice dispenser goes. Once removed push up on the controller and it will come out after that it's two plugs. Much easier than having to sit around waiting for a repair man, being overcharged for parts and 10 minutes of labor!! Good as new. John E Yorktown , VA June 13, 2019 Appliance: Model GE DFE29JGDABB FRENCH DOOR The cube ice dispenser had stopped working. In order to get cubed ice, you had to open the freezer drawer. After taking the front electronic panel off and inspection it was determined that that electronic led board and the display button panel had to be replaced. purchased both of those items and now everything again works as when new.
