Daniel D Farmington Hills , MI January 05, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator CFCP1NIYCSS The refrigerator dairy door had broken as a result when the refrigerator door was shut the butter on the dairy shelf would catapult into the refrigerator It took more time to find the correct part than it did to make the repair. I took the Dairy Shelf out of the refrigerator door by lifting it up about 1 inch and pulling it out. The Dairy Door has two round tabs on it, one on each side, that fit into round cut-outs on the Dairy Shelf. I lined up the new Dairy Door with the Dairy Shelf to determine which side is up and fit the Dairy Door tabs into the Dairy Shelf slots and finally into the round cut-outs. I had to deflect the plastic Dairy Door slightly to insert the 2nd round tab into its' round cut-out. Once installed, I tested the door to ensure it opened and closed. I searched further and found all the parts at significant savings and they are Orem parts at appliancepartspro.com. Using the make and model number, I easily ordered the needed parts.
