David O Upper Marlboro , MD April 28, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JES2251SJ02 Door would not open when front panel button was pushed Removed cover (the screws on the back require a special Torx Tamper-Resistant bit, size T-20) and discovered that a tab on the plastic Door Opening Level had broken off. Also removed the control panel in order to retrieve the broken tab and get a better look when replacing the part. The panel comes off with a single screw at the top. Ordered part from APP on a Tuesday, and it arrived on Thursday!! Replaced the part (it takes a bit of wiggling to get it into place), put it all back together, and now good as new! @ $15.45 + s&h, APP had the best price; I also found it for $17.09 and (!) $30.75.
