The Door Protect Cover is an OEM part for GE dryers. It acts as the outer door glass safeguarding the dryer door opening from external debris and impacts.

Causes of a bad door protection cover can include cracks or breaks from repeated door slamming over time. Warping from heat exposure inside the dryer cabinet is also possible.
