Removed the nasty bungee cord he had used for a temporary (Ha ha!) fix months before. Checked the model number inside the frig. Googled "Kenmore parts." Scroll-enlarged the nifty diagram. Said, "A hah." Ordered the parts online. Answered the door the next day. Stopped dancing my little jig. Used the heel of my hand to knock the end caps onto the metal shelf, clicked it back in place on the door, and filled that shelf with beer. Ta dah! Thank you for clear instructions and easy ordering. I had been intimidated by the process before, but you made it so simple. Even for me, and I'm a 71-year-old, shaky, worn-out lady.
