Dennis B Johnstown , PA June 27, 2015 Appliance: Model GE G-157 Inside discharge hose started to leak actually several places The GE Model G-157 is probably over twenty years old. Local appliance store couldn't find a match, but your site came close and I chose the ordered drain hose by appearance. A minor adjustment to the hose with a two inch galvanized electoral pipe and using a cut-off end with three hose clamps, it works. Ran five loads and its during the six right now. The hose isn't the hard plastic, as the replaced, so the need for the end piece to allow a clamping point to the outside discharge hose. I originally dismantled this assembly many times, trying to repair the old hose with sealers, glues, etc. Spent well over the cost of your replacement. Your part was modified and installed easily!
