Description

The High Voltage Harness & Electrodes is an OEM part for GE gas ranges. This burner harness and electrode assembly makes sure there is proper operation of the range's gas surface burners. The harness distributes electrical current from the range's control board to ignite the burners via the electrode spark igniters. Without functioning electrodes and an intact harness, gas burners will not light and be unable to operate safely.

Causes of a bad high-voltage harness and electrode assembly can include damage from corrosion, cracks or shorts in the wiring, or deterioration of the electrodes over many ignitions and heat cycles.

Symptoms of a faulty harness and electrodes include:

• Gas burners that will not light or ignite
• Surface elements that intermittently fail to function
• Burners that produce an inconsistent or irregular flame
