Description

This lower bake element installs in the bottom of the oven cavity. It replaces a failed element to restore even oven heating, reliable preheating, and consistent baking results for your range.

• Provides the primary heat during Bake mode from the bottom of the oven
• Common symptoms of failure: no heat on Bake, very slow preheat, uneven or undercooked results
• Visible damage such as blisters, breaks, or burn spots on the element is a strong indicator it needs replacement
• Direct wire-on replacement designed to mount to the rear oven wall on applicable models

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; verify the oven is de-energized
• Remove racks, take out the rear mounting screws, gently pull the element forward, and transfer the two wires one at a time
• Support wires so they don't retract into the insulation; avoid stressing terminals
• Ensure the element isn't touching the oven floor or sides before restoring power and testing Bake
