Description

This 8-inch Haliant radiant surface element mounts beneath the glass of a smooth-top range to heat a single cooking zone. Replacing a failed element restores proper heating response and consistent performance on that burner. What it does:

• Heats the 8-inch cooking zone by converting electrical energy to radiant heat beneath the glass
• Helps provide even heating and smooth simmer-to-boil control
• Works with the surface control to cycle and maintain the set temperature
• Typical failure symptoms: no heat, very slow heating, or inconsistent/uneven heating on that burner

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker; allow the cooktop to cool fully
• Lift/remove the glass top per your model's procedure to access the element
• Note wire locations and transfer any mounting clips/brackets from the old element if needed
• After reassembly, test the burner; if it still won't heat, the surface element switch/control may be at fault
