Bob S Stoughton , WI March 24, 2015 Appliance: Model GE JB670DP1WW Intermittent control problem on a ge jb670dp1ww range no error code but cookie tops would sometimes scortch and over temperature would rise without cause Replaced controller. Remember to replace the front push button cover when replacing the controller as it is glued on and would be difficult to reuse. Recalibrated temperature using instructions in appliance manual. Replacement controller was not the original model and did take some time to secure but it went in easily and does the job. My wife is back to making cookies with confidence.
