K J Frisco , TX January 19, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator P Series GMR06AAPBBB Very noisy evap fan motor in the compact under the counter ge fridge I googled the symptoms and found out what need to be replaced. I pulled the fridge from under the counter, removed the back cover and confirmed the fan was the culprit. I found the part using the model number on appliance parts pro and ordered the part. I had no clue how to get the fan out, as most You tube video only showed full size fridge fan replacement, which is located inside the freezer. I called the help line for appliance parts pro and the girl I talked to also could not help me. I then started looking at each parts on the appliance pro diagram and found pictures of 2 screws going under the fridge that holds the evap fan. Bingo. Received the parts on 1/16, replaced the fan in 30 minutes, let the fridge stand upright for 2 hours before I turned it on. As the fridge was on its side for a while.
