Description

This lint filter assembly traps lint and fibers from the exhaust airstream to maintain proper airflow and drying performance. Replace a torn or missing screen to help restore efficiency and reduce lint buildup inside the appliance and vent. What it does:

• Screens lint and debris from air leaving the drum
• Helps maintain airflow for consistent drying
• Helps keep lint out of the blower and vent path
• Common signs it's time to replace: torn mesh, cracked/warped frame, poor fit, excessive lint beyond the filter, longer dry times

Install notes:

• Disconnect power before service and allow the unit to cool
• Remove the old filter; vacuum/clean the lint housing and chute
• Insert the new filter fully and ensure it seats and moves smoothly
