Description

This is a small flapper valve located in the dishwasher vent assembly that opens to release steam and hot air during the drying cycle. It closes during wash cycles to prevent water from escaping. Replace this flapper if dishes are not drying properly, if you notice steam leaking during the wash cycle, or if the flapper is warped, cracked, or stuck.
