Description

This bucket float monitors the water level in the appliance's collection bucket and lifts to trip the bucket-full switch. Replacing a worn or missing float restores proper automatic shutoff and helps prevent overflows and nuisance bucket-full errors. What it does:

• Rises with the water level to actuate the bucket-full safety switch
• Helps prevent bucket overflows by signaling the unit to stop when full
• A damaged, missing, or stuck float may cause a constant "bucket full" alert, the unit not running, or water spilling/overfilling

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and remove the water bucket
• Empty/dry the bucket and remove the old float from its holder
• Install the new float in the same orientation; ensure it moves freely
• Reinstall the bucket and test by manually lifting the float to check the bucket-full indicator/safety switch responds
