Description

This is a flexible rubber or felt seal that fits around the perimeter of the dryer door opening. It creates an airtight seal between the door and the drum area to keep heated air inside the dryer during operation. Replace this gasket if you feel hot air escaping around the door, notice longer drying times, or if the seal is torn, flattened, or deteriorated.
