Description

This door gasket seals the fridge/freezer door to maintain proper temperature and efficiency. Replaces a worn or torn seal to help reduce frost buildup and prevent cool air loss. What it does:

• Creates an airtight seal around the door perimeter to keep cold air in and warm air out.
• Helps prevent frost and ice buildup inside the compartment.
• Reduces compressor run time and helps maintain consistent internal temperatures.
• Common symptoms: visible gaps, torn or compressed seal, noticeable temperature fluctuations, or excess frost.

What's included: One door gasket. Install notes:

• Disconnect power before starting and work with clean, dry hands.
• Remove the old gasket by loosening retaining screws or pulling from the channel as applicable; inspect the channel for debris.
• Align the new gasket evenly and press into the door channel, working around the perimeter to ensure full contact.
• If needed, soften the gasket with warm water or a low-heat source per OEM guidance to help seat corners; avoid open flames.
