Bob M Crossville , TN December 02, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Gas Range JGSP28DEN3CC Replacing gasket between burner stove top & control panel Front control panel has 4 black screws and 3 silver screws below, which are above lip of the oven door when opened as well as two screws on left & right of the control panel on the exterior. You also have to remove 4 nuts which are underneath burner knobs for right & left Rear burners. After 7 screws and 4 nuts you can lift control panel enough to install new gasket. Two slots in gasket align with crimps in control panel.. Screw on sides of control panel are torx. Screws under lip are 1/4" hex. Nuts are 1/4".
