Description

This main door boot gasket seals the opening between the washer's outer tub and the door. It restores a watertight barrier to help stop leaks at the front of the machine when the original boot is worn or torn.

• Creates the tub-to-door seal that keeps wash and rinse water inside
• Helps prevent drips, puddles, and residue at the door area
• Typical symptoms: water on the floor from the front, visible tears/cracks, persistent mildew or odor on the boot
• If the door won't seal or you hear air/water escaping during cycles, the gasket may be worn

• Disconnect power and shut off water supply
• Have towels ready; some residual water may spill when removing the old boot
• Note clamp/spring placement and the orientation of drain ports or index marks before removal
• Seat the new gasket evenly on the tub lip, then reinstall the inner and outer retaining bands securely; run a short cycle to check for leaks
