Description

This oven light gasket fits between the glass lens and the oven liner. It restores a proper seal around the light opening to help keep grease and moisture out of the light cavity and hold the lens securely in place. What it does:

• Seals the joint between the oven light lens and the cavity wall
• Helps prevent grease and moisture from entering the light assembly
• Keeps the lens snug to reduce looseness or rattling
• Replace if the gasket is cracked, flattened, brittle, missing, or if moisture/grease is visible around the lens

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely
• Remove the light lens/retainer as your model requires (unscrew lens or release clips)
• Note gasket orientation and clean the mating surfaces
• Seat the new gasket evenly and reinstall the lens; do not overtighten the glass
