Christine L Phoenix , NY December 15, 2016 Appliance: Model GE JHP56V TOP OVEN The gasket was falling apart after 38 years and needed to be replaced i was happy to find the part on your website and was just what i needed the part came fast and was happy with your company My husband followed the directions that were on the website and was successful in installing the new part. We did have to stretch the gasket a little to fit all the way around the oven and the oven door latch needed to be adjusted a little for the door to shut tight. I'm sure the gasket will compress some and will make it easier to shut the door in the future. Used a small torx screwdriver to remove the screws on the sides of the oven and the clamp where the gasket meets at the top of the oven. Read More...
