Description

This OEM replacement part is a seal gasket used for washers. The seal gasket is the rubber seal that goes outside the washer tub that seals to the washer door. If the seal is cracked or otherwise damaged to the point where the washing machine door no longer opens and shuts properly, it might be time for a replacement. Luckily replacing this seal gasket is a relatively easy fix.To replace this part, start by shutting off power to the washing machine. Open the washer door and remove the mounting screws that hold the seal in place. Once removed gently lift the seal out of its place and proceed to replace it with the new seal gasket. Once fitted, secure the seal with the mounting screws and make sure it fits tightly.
