Sid N New Lenox , IL April 20, 2014 My dryer would not ignite i could see the igniter glowing but the gas valve was not opening all temp sensing devices checked ok A chat with an appliance parts pro rep said it sounded like a problem with the coils. I gave her the model number of my dryer and she said she'd get with the techs and then get back to me in a day or two. She sent me information on a replacement coil set along with a schematic. I placed the order for the coil set, got it within two days, and installed it in about 30 minutes. Dryer runs like new. Well, as new as a 30 year old dryer can.
