Daryl O Sammamish , WA December 01, 2015 Appliance: Model GE JGP963 One gas burner on ge cook top would not ignite with switch I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again. Julio M Tucson , AZ February 13, 2017 Igniter replacement and overall maintenenance Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat. After that initial diagnose, I reassembled the cooktop without the igniters and ordered all the parts I needed. The second stage was easy since I had already learned which parts needed replacement and how. work finished with a good cleanup of th glass plate. James C New London , NH April 01, 2019 The rubber feet on cooktop grills breaking into pieces and falling off, this made grills uneven I used a small thin screwdriver to pry the split rubber feet out of the grills. Then I applied a small amount of high temp. sealant to each rubber foot before inserting into the hole in the Grill. I used a paper towel to remove any excess sealant. The sealant insures that the foot will not fall out. The job is done and I would rate it as very easy. The sealant I used was DOWSIL RTV Sealant 732 which is recommended for High temperatures to 350F.
