Description

The Grille Housing is an OEM part for GE dryers. Located at the front of the dryer, the grille housing covers and protects the drying drum opening. It is responsible for preventing lint buildup and maintaining airflow into and out of the dryer. 

Causes of a bad grille housing can include cracks or breaks from repeated cleaning or impact, as well as loose or worn fittings that no longer provide a proper seal. 

Symptoms of a bad grille housing include:

• Excessive lint accumulation around the dryer opening
