Description

This high-voltage transformer supplies the elevated voltage needed by the magnetron to produce microwave energy. Replacing a faulty transformer restores heating performance and reduces risk of electrical faults in the oven. What it does:

• Converts line voltage to the high voltage required by the magnetron to generate microwaves.
• Can cause no-heat conditions when failed; replaces a transformer that no longer powers the magnetron.
• Works with the HV capacitor and diode as part of the microwave high-voltage circuit.
